- Company Style Guides – We have written, edited, and formatted numerous company style guides, for magazines, engineering firms, environmental firms, surveying firms, technical journals, and more. Please e-mail us with your needs so that we can create one for your company!
- Multiple Resume Editing and Formatting for Businesses – Do you need to update your employees’ resumes? Do the resumes need to be edited and formatted for consistency? Contact Dr. Oswald for a quote. In your e-mail, list the number of employees and whether we will need to contact individual employees for updates, will need to create all resumes from scratch, or will need to just edit and format existing resumes.
- Report and Proposal Editing and Formatting – For a quick, professional edit of your report or proposal, e-mail your document to us. We charge $65/hour for standard editing, and the time can vary from 5-8 pages per hour. All reports and proposals are edited by Dr. Oswald, who has over 18 years experience as a technical editor. Along with your draft document, send any instructions, deadlines, special needs, and, if available, the RFP or report instructions from the client so that we can ensure that you have met all requirements.
- Amazon CreateSpace & Kindle Document Formatting – Email your Word document to us for an estimate on turning it into a CreateSpace or Kindle-ready book (let us know if you need both; these will be separate files). This does not include editing, just formatting.
- For Kindle books, we create bookmarks to chapters and a Table of Contents, check page size, font, and layout, fix page breaks, remove headers and footers, and do an overall check.
- For CreateSpace books, we check (or create, if missing) the headers and footers, create a table of contents based on heading styles, and include section and page breaks as needed.
- Web Site Editing – Let us take a look at your Web site and make corrections (grammar, punctuation, and spelling), revisions (rewriting for clarity), or redesign suggestions. E-mail us your link by clicking here, along with detailed instructions concerning your needs. Our standard fee is $65 per hour.
- Newsletters – We can custom-design your company or organization’s newsletter for a set fee, to be negotiated based on the number of issues per year (long-term contracts receive a discount, as do nonprofit organizations); how much text and graphics you provide (we can research and write your entire newsletter, if needed); and the length of the document. All newsletter text is edited, and you are not billed until you are satisfied with the layout and text. Most newsletters are designed in Microsoft Word and provided to the client in Word as well as a PDF for the printer. We can also design your newsletter in Microsoft Word, if you prefer. - Grant Proposals – We can write your grant proposals and research possible funding sources at either an hourly rate or a set fee. Please e-mail us with your needs.

Our A/E/C publications package includes technical writing, editing, and document formatting services.

- SF330: Transfer 254/255 information, resumes, and projects to the SF330 form
- Proposal Writing: Create standard documents and descriptions that can be used to insert into proposals as needed
- Photographs: Reformatting for Web use, newsletter use, etc.
- Resumes: preparing in various versions (1 page, 1 paragraph, bullet list, SF330) for various marketing materials. Editing and formatting new resumes for new personnel.
